Positive Traits
+ Imaginative. To survive a dull, sheltered childhood, Rose often entertained herself by daydreaming and imagining different sorts of possibilities about her life. Not one for self-pity, Rose uses her imagination to comfort herself and to think of solutions for her problems, and this trait allows her better control of the Mist and magic.
+ Independent. As an only child with a mostly absent father, Rose learned how to take care of herself at a young age. She is capable of taking on life without having to rely on someone. In fact, Rose prefers to work on her own, as it allows her to work at her own pace and make the rules and regulations for herself.
+ Perceptive. Rose is capable of manipulating the Mist and creating illusions, which means that she is also extremely perceptive. She can tell if someone is lying or if they have dark intentions. The downside of this is that since Rose isn’t a very likeable person, it is not easy for her to convince people as they can chalk this up to Rose being cold and disagreeable.
Neutral Traits
* Sophisticated. Due to her noble background, Rose was raised to be a proper lady. She is the walking definition of cultured, and it's not just in the high-end clothes she wears—Rose carries herself as if she were a queen. Though her sophistication was a product of her upbringing, her view of herself as a queen mostly stems from her love of power.
* Secretive. Rose enjoys keeping secrets as much as she enjoys gathering them for leverage.
Negative Traits
- Manipulative. Rose is not above using people if it means she gets her way. Though flirting is her biggest and most honed manipulation strategy, she can also manipulate people by making them feel needed and appreciated. While she will avoid doing this to the few people she genuinely likes, it’s a deeply ingrained habit she can’t easily get rid of.
- Power-hungry. One of Rose’s biggest frustrations is that she wasn’t claimed by a Big Three god, which means that she isn’t as respected or feared as the Big Three demigods. Rose compensates by trying to master her Hecate powers, but due to her arrogance, thirst for power and ambition, she has difficulties listening to her mentors and even to her mother, the goddess Hecate herself.
- Misanthropic. Growing up spoiled and away from most of humanity, Rose developed a dislike of humanity and a sense of superiority over them. Though she is capable of making and keeping very few friends, Rose ultimately sees humanity, especially mortals, as weaklings who do not deserve her empathy.
