Asher had been Dauntless for all of his life. So when he got dauntless on his test he was really happy. The girl who he was friends with back at school picked Dauntless. Asher knew she wouldn't make it coming from Amity but she tried. She made it which to him was surprising. He didn't really care but she seemed to be really happy for some reason. Asher was never one to take the hint that girls had a thing for him. He was always more towards the fighting part of life instead. Looking down at his shirtless chest he saw the tattoos he had. He got a dauntless tattoo merged with the Candor emblem, to show that he had a divided family. His father was a Candor transfer to Dauntless and his little brother was a Candor transfer into Candor. In his mind he liked a divided family because it gave balanced to the world. Not everyone could stay in their faction they got at birth. If it was that way the faction-less would have more people than the actual factions. That would be a very bad thing to happen. There would be almost no order or sense of where anyone was going.
Asher looked down more to his hands. They were rapped up in boxing wraps so he could practice his punching. He could still see the scars on his knuckles and the top of his hand. Asher hurt himself a lot when he was younger, he also used to never wear his boxing wraps. So that's how he got his scars. He didn't hate nor like them, more like he tolerated them. Sometimes if he thought to hard about how he got them he would feel the pain from them once again. Asher clenched his fists and took a punch at the punching bag. When he punched the bag he let out a huff. He kept doing that until he heard someone walking into the training area. He let his hands fall to his side and sighed. "Don't think about sneaking up on me." He said to the person. He didn't know who it was but it wouldn't matter to him anyway.

bang bang
watch them fall
Mattie twirled one of his pistols in his hand, catching it in the other with an expression of mild amusement. Since his transfer, he'd been way better with weapons than previously. He'd been a member of the Dauntless faction for what, six years now? Time seemed to fly for the blonde man, it hadn't taken all that much to figure out a way to adapt to the ways of the Dauntless faction. He wasn't near any of the new initiate classes, his time as an initiate had long since passed. He made it through initiation well, third of his class, impressive for an Erudite transfer. As much as Mattie wouldn't have admitted it now, he was born in the Erudite faction. The Densen's were relatively well known in the faction as well, with his father being representative for a time. Mattie had a dillema of his own, however. He didn't fit into just one faction, but multiple. Dauntless and Erudite to be precise, both his other selves accounted for his results. his secret was well guarded however, even his twin sister Lucienne had no idea that Mattie was Divergent, and no one ever would as long as Mattie lived. His secret slipping would mean his demise, and that was something that Mattie would not risk.
Mattie entered the training areas of the Dauntless compound, tugging slightly on his scarf wrapped around his neck. It was rather quiet, there weren't initiates and their trainers crowding the area, at least. Mattie would know if they were, after all, he was one of the trainers for the transfers. Mattie was about to get to his own routine, before he was stopped by the voice of someone else, a boy whom he hadn't even noticed there. He knew him though, not by much. "Don't worry, wasn't planning on it, Miller", Mattie said, with a small nod towards the other. Mattie clicked a bullet into one of his pistols, having picked up one of the two off of his belt. Quickly, Mattie fired one at a target on the other side of the room, watching the dummy slump over with ease. Mattie blew the smoke off the end of his gun, a clean shot, as usual. After all, guns were Mattie's best weapon, something he and Mathias had in common, although Mathias specialized in sniper type guns.

[nospaces] I feel like you see [break]
Right through me Asher refused to tell a lot of people his last name after he picked dauntless. This was just how he liked people to know him. He didn't want the new people to know that his family was a Dauntless family. The Miller family had a rep for leaving their birth faction or staying in dauntless. The only faction that his family ever went into was candor. That's the faction his great grandmother came from which led to his father's uncle to go to candor, and his aunt left for candor. He told all the new initiates his first name and that was it. If you were here before him or while he was an initiate then you knew his last name. [break][break] Mathias was one of the people before him. Only a year older or so. For all Asher knew the guy could have been the same year as him. He did not pay much attention to the other people. He only really talked to anyone when there was training to be done. Asher did not want to have friends at first until he got comfortable living his dauntless life. True his family was from dauntless that was a given as Asher himself was very tough. Asher looked Mathias up and down for a little while before letting his arms fall and turning his body fully. He watched as Mathias went over to shoot his gun. Asher preferred to fight with his hands but sometimes that was not preventable and he would need a gun. "Good shot Mathias." Asher said to the other blonde. Asher didn't think it was that good of a shot but he did know that Mathias specialized in snipers. [break][break] Mathias Densen
