Merci is an extremely fun loving girl in her own free time, she loves to dance and sing and play games with the other campers. She has been this way since birth and has always shown her compassionate side to those in need. Merci is adventurous which could in some ways prove to be a pain in the butt since this is a time of war, but hey nothing wrong with enjoying yourself a little as long as you are safe. Merci attempts to see the good in everyone else even if some people think shes crazy she feels that goodness lies in the hearts of even the cruelest of people. She feels no ill will towards anyone and wants nothing but peace, however merci is not all that innocent herself. While some people might think shes to sweet to heart a fly merci is a roman and she has plenty of skills to protect herself. Merci is a passive aggressive young woman she rely on no one else to protect herself and can be extremely violent when her life is in danger. She does have a bit of temperament about her making her slightly unpredictable at times. Merci has proven herself to be a strong independent young girl and she hates asking people for help. She does suffer from PTSD and occasionally has flash backs from the war. Times have been hard for the young daughter of Ceres but she has proven time and time again that she is a survivor and that shes is stronger than most people think. Like any human beings she has her ups and downs, her good traits and her bad traits but hey that's just how life happens.

Born as a second child to a man named Kole Laheurte. He originally had a daughter from the goddess Demeter who he loved deeply however a couple years later she had another daughter named Merci who was born to the same goddess only she wasnt Demeter she was the roman form named Ceres. Growing up Merci and her sister were always pretty close to one another, she loved her older sister and spent a lot of time learning new things from her. That all changed however when Merci hit the ripe age of ten. Lupa the roman goddess would take children to Camp Jupiter in order to start their training and Merci was no different from every other Roman Demi God there was. She was brought to the training area and forced to stay there until she was able to pass the test, she was eleven when she was finally released into the camps hands. Scared out of her wits she searched frantically for her sister but never found her among the campers at Camp Jupiter. Fearing she would never see her sister again she began her life at Camp, learning what she could from the Romans though she never expected to have to actually use it.
At the age of fifteen the war between the Greeks and the Romans broke out and she was forced into a hard situation. She fought as hard as she could however she didnt have much hope after about a week of fighting she was injured and forced into the mobile hospital that was put up within the camp. Merci watched the war unfold around her and quickly signed up to be a healer for the Roman side spending most of her time out of the battle field and eventually after many deaths on both sides the war stopped and the two sides came together to form one camp. Confused and Awe Struck she learned the truth that would combine one camp to another, a common enemy to had started the war. Merci blamed the Titan children for what happened to her home and now with both camps in ruin she had no where else to go but to stick with the Roman and Greek leaders in creating a new home for them. Later one she managed to hear talk of a demeter girl who looked similar to her but scared that it might not be her sister Merci has decided to avoid the girl at all costs.
A year has passed since the war and Merci still is quick on her toes and sneaky about camp to avoid the girl who may or may not be here sister. She is often to scared to even think about the possibilities of her sister being alive and having been away from her for so long shes scared she`ll have forgotten her. Merci has proven herself to be a wonderful aid to the helping of the survivors of camp, she even still helps to go out and look for new recruits who may have found the camps a little to late. They have stations set at each camp to make iris message calls between the two in order to sway more recruits over but the thing is she isnt sure how long the temporary peace may last. Merci now has to decided what in her life is something she is willing to give up and what she isnt. What is worth fighting for and what is worth running away from. This daughter of Ceres will not have an easy time but its never a bad idea to just attempt to get your own life on track and right now that is her goal, to figure out her life.

POWERS & ABILITIES
[CHOLORKINESIS] Being a daughter of Ceres she has been gifted with the ability of Cholorkinesis. Basically meaning any plant life has the ability to be controlled by this girl. She uses this ability when in fighting to help protect herself or to keep herself alive. She can also grow food, plants, or flowers for the camp, its not a lot of strength behind this ability but every little bit helps the campers and every little thing helps her to grow stronger in more way than one. When using this ability she can either physically touch the plant, speak to the plant, or mentally manipulate the plant to the best of her abilities, however there are weaknesses.
[LIMITATIONS] Plants normally grow in the summer and spring and die in the fall and winter, she has some powers during the fall/winter seasons and can still make a few things grow however it will not be as abundant as during the lively seasons. She is also weaker in the fall/winter, and at night because plants thrive off sunlight.
[ATMOKINESIS] Due to her mother being the goddess of the seasons, she has the ability to manipulate the seasons ever so slightly so basically when its summer she can make a small area turn barren, when its winter she can make a small area thrive. This ability is rate in children of Ceres/Demeter but she has learned to use it to the camp advantages. She can not physically change the seasons however she can influence which fruits, veggies or other things grow.
[LIMITATIONS] She can not physically change the season however she can make a small portion of land change from spring to summer or from summer to fall etc. This ability however take a lot out of her and can cause her to lose her abilities for a certain amount of time. If she does make a small area into winter she CAN NOT cause snow fall, however the cold air and rain can.
