Sam is a pretty laid back guy in regular life. He likes to joke around a little bit and just hold interesting conversations about what ever the other person wants to talk about. Sam isn't the kind to seize leader ship right away. He usually just let's other people give orders, however when in the heat of battle or in stressful situations Sam gives advice and motivation to those around him.
Sam isn't the most serious or uptight guy you'll meet but he does have boundaries. When said boundaries are crossed he usually gets angry or ticked off a little and just tells you straight up that it's not okay. Sam is a pretty confrontational guy, even if he doesn't like fighting. Sam tries to avoid fist fights usually and breaks them up when he can but he isn't just going to be the better man about everything.

Sam was part of the war. He fought for the greek side, and was part of the army that demolished Camp Jupiter. Sam had watched demigod kill demigod, and he grew to hate it. After the war had ended he got along well enough with the Romans at the new camp, but things were never the same. He blamed the titan children for the war and wanted to see their camp destroyed, he also hated the renegade children for continuing to fight among themselves. He wants everybody to just get along, like they used to back before the stupid war. He tries his best to be a peacemaker but to him it feels like everybody else wants another war. He is fine with the way things are at the new camp, but he still wants to destroy the titan children and stop the renegades from fighting. His history isn't all that eventful either, before the war his mother had died of cancer and after the war camp was all he had left to go to. Samuel didn't hate his father, he preys to him often for peace. He really just wants everybody to get along.
