Cedric is most often described as an old man. And for a decent reason. He doesn't rush into things with out thinking them through, and is more reluctant to do certain someone his age would do in a heartbeat. He cares for others deeply, and often sacrifices his own freedoms or wants just to help people out. He tries to drop some knowledge every now and then, and isn't very confrontational. He doesn't like fighting all that much but doesn't shy away from it. He'd much rather be in the back room planning then on the front line carrying out the orders.

Cedric's father was a teacher. He was fresh out of college, still paying off the debt he had and living off of ramen noodles and mountain dew. On a teachers salary he barely made enough for himself, so when Cedric was hatched (Athena head thingy) they had to move to the south side of LA. Cedrics dad worked many jobs, not having time to be a teacher he part timed at three different places just to provide for him and his son. Cedric grew up in a bad neighborhood, obviously they were poor, and was surrounded by gang violence and hoodlum nonsense. He tried his best to stay out of it, but still he did get involved with a few incidents here and there. When he turned thirteen his father sent him to camp Half Blood for the summer, and when Cedric got back he was pretty much a full fledged demigod.
Cedric only spent one summer at the camp when he was a teenager. He was more focused on his studies, and earning a scholar ship to a good college. He aced every one of his classes in high school and graduated valedictorian, he also got a full ride to Duke. Having graduated from Duke, Cedric went back to camp Half Blood. There he met the friends he has to this day. People like Sebastian Crane, Judas Holiday, Kadence Lightwood, and Balthazar Teach. Of course he was more friends with some then with others, but they were all allies for the most part.... then the war happened
During the war Cedric helped off the battle field as a strategist. He also helped communicate orders efficiently by using his telepathy to convey them to the generals or commanders. He never really saw battle, the one time he did he had ordered a retreat and had to help stall for their forces to get out in time. Through out the war he had never really seen the point in fighting with the Romans, Cosmos and Celestia (who he didn't know of at the time, he did know Cosmos however) were the ones they needed to be fighting. Though, it seemed Cedric was the only one who found their absence odd considering how hard they pushed for war. So he became a spy. It wasn't that hard, all he had to do was find a titan child and ask to join up. They of course kept their location a secret, but he knew the lay out of their camp and some of the titans and their abilities. He paid close attention to their culture, how they operated, how they acted towards each other. Of course, everybody thinks he is actually a traitor because he left with out telling them.

Others may hear them however unless they are an athena they can not communicate back with them. Some minor power of this ability may be the off chance that they can glimpse a peek into another's mind for a minute, however this only works on demi gods.
PROWESS IN BATTLE: These children have been known to be strategical and well rounded in the abilities of hand to hand combat as well as hands on with the weapons. By using this ability they are better rounded in both situations and can overcome their opponents with skills rather than force.
