DREAMS: To be well respected with a high title.
FEARS: The loss of everything she has, including her beauty and charm. The destruction of her reputation
Isa claims to despise stereotypes despite being one herself. She’s a true daughter of Venus; manipulative, charming, and superficial. Raised by primadonna standards, Isa enjoys being in the spotlight and once in a while finds entertainment is causing chaos, preferably with one’s feelings and sexual attraction. She has an alarmingly grim outlook in life, preferring to be self-reliant and separated from love and friendships. Genuine emotional attachment, both romantic and platonic, are a rarity for the daughter of Venus. She’s not exactly scared of love itself but the commitment that comes with it. In result of this, she has mastered separating her emotions from her sexual feelings.
Isa masks her concerning thirst for power and huge ego with her charismatic and poised façade. Her impeccable confidence shines through multiple aspects such as her speech, gestures, and posture. Another trait she possesses is being steadfast especially when it comes to training. Isabella has spends multiple hours a day disciplining herself in combat and mastering different weapons. She lives to break the hopeless-daughter-of-love stereotype and while she hates being underestimated, she enjoys the look of surprise of her opponents once they realize her true potential in combat.

background
Isabella Rosario Di Luca was born the eldest and only daughter out of three to Camille and Marco Di Luca. Marco Di Luca was a successor to a prosperous vineyard in Southern California and spent hours a week in the fields overseeing the crops. Isabella’s younger brothers, Antonio and Matteo, accompanied their father in the fields leaving Isa alone with her mother at their Villa located on the outskirts of the winery. The Di Luca’s were an Italian-Catholic family that followed religious and family traditions. On top of that, Camille Di Luca believed in outdated, patriarchal views that she forced onto her daughter. As she grew older, Isabella’s beliefs in feminism would strengthen but the proper etiquette and social skills Camille Di Luca enforced on her would always remain.
Camille was a strict lady that valued her social standing and reputation. Because of this, Camille treated Isa like her little marionette doll and kept a firm hand on the girl’s education, extra-curricular activities, and appearance. At the age of thirteen, Isabella was fluent in Italian, a novice pianist, and an excellent socializer. The Di Luca’s frequently hosted soirées and dinner parties, giving Isabella perfect opportunities to charm and impress her family’s friends, acquaintances and possible sponsors.
While she enjoyed the spotlight, Isa always longed to escape her mother’s stern grasp. She was always closed in their villa, left to practice the same sonatas over and over while her brothers spent the day outdoors under her father’s temperate supervision. But at such a young age, there was nothing Isabella could do but comply with her mother’s strict regimes.
As time progressed, the status of the family winery grew unstable, causing tensions between the relationship of Camille and Marco Di Luca. Both mortals grew exasperated, constantly fretting over the potential bankruptcy looming in the horizon. With this came frequent vocal arguments. This significantly affected Isa and her siblings and caused tensions between family members to stiffen.
Isabella’s true parentage became clear one afternoon while in the middle of ‘Für Elise’. She was sat at the grand piano, her lithe fingers tickling the ivories in a mediocre attempt of the song. Her mother loomed over her shoulder keeping a close eye on her daughter’s progress. Camille’s mood was sour, still recovering from a brutal argument with her husband. Isabella made the mistake of pressing the wrong key which was immediately followed by a harsh outburst from her mother. “What kind of b**** did your father have to sleep with—,” her mother yelled, “—to make such a useless daughter?” The words put both Camille and Isabella into astonishment, causing Camille to storm out leaving Isa in tears at the piano. Neither Camille nor Isabella spoke a word about the scenario afterwards. Life resumed as it was, except for the heavy dose of cold distance that settled between Camille and Isa.
The dreams came after that. Images of a worn down mansion…a pack of wolves…flocks of white doves. They left Isabella in cold sweat, gasping for breath in the middle of the night. The dreams came several times a week for three months and stopped three days before Isabella’s fourteenth birthday…three days before she arrived at the Wolf House.
A day short of her fourteenth birthday, Isabella was sent to a boarding school in northern California. Without a word, Isa obliged both saddened and excited to leave her family. She left immediately. In the outskirts of Sonoma Valley, the young girl’s vehicle (Driven by a hired chauffeur) was hijacked by a pack of wolves which Isa would later find out belonged to Lupa.
She was then taken to the Wolf House, the destination in her dreams, where she would stay there just shy of a full year. The girl’s fierce willpower was the main reason why Isabella passed Lupa’s tests. The young, inexperienced girl had minimal combat coordination and endurance, but Lupa saw the fire in Isa’s eyes and let her progress to Camp Jupiter with her blessing.
Isabella was assigned to the second cohort primarily for of her determination and self-assurance. She was claimed by Venus soon enough and found that as an encouragement to train harder. She began to spend hours a day at the arena, improving her dexterity and understanding different weapons. The daughter of Venus’ rank steadily improved due to her perseverance and charm, and by the end of her third year in Camp Jupiter, she was one of the top legionnaires in her cohort.
It didn’t take very long for Isabella to devote her unequivocal loyalty to the legion. She stood proudly with her ranks during the attack on the Greek Camp and did not hesitate to follow her orders. With loyalty and obedience came respect. Respect and power was one of the few things that she valued over her duty to the Legion. In the end of the war, Isabella stood with the Legion with her Roman pride still intact. She had no choice but to support the truce between the two Camps but she still despised the Greeks and blamed them for the ruinous aftermaths of the conflict.
POWERS & ABILITIES
[ALLUREMENT]- Isabella has fully grasped this power and uses it to her full advantage. Most times, Isa uses this for her entertainment as she finds toying with one’s sexual desires an amusing pastime. Although she’s been exercising the ability for a long time, it still takes a great amount of physical toll. When overused, it can cause dizziness or nausea.
[CHARMSPEAK]-Having charmspeak available in her arsenal doesn’t necessarily mean she’s understood it. In fact, Isa isn’t even aware that she’s capable of this influence in the first place. The power does subconsciously reveal itself once in a while, and when it does, it comes in small, unnoticeable doses.
Of course, extreme overuse of both powers may cause death.
