Alex was needing a bit of space from the other campers for a moment. A bit of time to himself as he tried to work out the things in his mind that Alicia had laid on to him upon his arrival back into camp. Looking back on his reason for leaving was a bit selfish but at least he got what he wanted out of it. Now it was time to use what he knew. Having a Titan for a parent wasn't what he had wished for. It was nice knowing more about that parent and what to compare him with. Having a plausible theory as to why he was the way he was. That was the reason of his ambition. Now that could he could fathom the nature of the best, it was time to take it down. The war that had escalated between the Romans on his absence made him realize that they had unneeded hate towards to each other. They may be brutes in his mind but at least they did fight for what they believed in. Only issue being, was it the right thing to believe in? That's what bugged him the most about the circumstances that their spiritual parents.
It could be said that they were the ones who caused the stress in the world. Their children following in their paths as if they were there to lead them through it. Maybe some children were able to have a consistent link to their heritage. That wasn't who this dawn-bringer considered himself. No, things needed to change but the case was a big one to fight for. Doing it alone would not be easy. He had Alicia, sure but she had her own duties. Being absent from her life again was also out of the question. That tender heart needed someone to protect and guard it. Now working out how to do this is what brought him to this solitary place in the forest. Knowing that Romans could be lurking around but they weren't one for guerilla tactics. Coming up to a stump, he would sit down on it as he placed his back pack on the ground. His personal stash of things that he kept from his high school days. Pulling out a rolling tray, a bag of green herb, and a beautiful glass piece. He sighed at the contents that were placed into his lap.
Smoking wasn't smoking he did on a regular basis as opposed to his teenage years. Now, he only used it to sit back, think, relax, and take action. It opened up a different part of his mind that allowed him to seek out what he needed. An added benefit being that it held back the darkness that he felt within himself. Only thing he could do is trust that he wouldn't go back fully into it with the situations to come. His tattooed hands began to work on breaking down the substance as he would begin to load a bowl. The black tank top he wore had no designs on it. The designs he did have could be seen more all over his body though. Black jeans and combat boots covered the lower part of his body. Not wanting to attract any unwanted poisonous plant or annoying bug to mess with his legs. With his task complete, he would place the object to his mouth, bending and focusing the rays of light to ignite the drug of his choice. His senses would become a bit dull to everything around him but he could be ready in an instant.
