• When confused, Ed's speech pattern and body language defaults into that of lying: not looking people in the eye, fidgeting, and not using contractions. When he lies, he can do it as if he's telling the truth.
• Ed tilts his head and scrunches his eyebrows (something he picked up from Felicity) if he's very confused.
  
• Even though Ed's aroace, he can somewhat mimic being "attracted to" or "in love with"  someone just from watching people and theorizing how they'd feel. Although he's both sex and romance averse, and it would gross him out to the umpteenth power, it wouldn't be below him to act as if he has feeling for someone to get revenge or to get what he wanted.
• He has a bit of a death wish, but is very paradoxical about it. On one hand, he thinks he doesn't deserve to be alive and wholeheartedly thinks he should have died with his family. He thinks he has nothing to live for beyond annoying people and shoving his existence into their faces (which can get old after a while) and sincerely believes the world doesn't have any use for him. On the other hand, all he knows is how to survive on his own and is somewhat terrified of seeing the rest of the Simons because he thinks they're angry with him.
• Ed started his house fire (on accident)
• When he saw the Romans in comparison to the Greeks, he believed (with his attitude) he'd fit in better there (if forced to chose between the two camps; otherwise he still believes/doesn't want to be in either). He rescinded that thought as soon as he realized that they had to get burned every year.
• Ed's never gone to the Simons's grave site
• Ed has never learned how to control his powers from Eris; therefore he doesn't even know he's a walking strife bomb, he just assumes that he has a knack for starting fights
• Edmund can make around fifty wooden carvings in a week if he's left alone
• He survives on his own by taking odd jobs, selling his wood carvings, and breaking into people's houses when they're on vacation (dismantling alarm systems are easy for him)
• He could probably get a job in engineering or any type of wood crafting if he wanted
• Ed has traveled cross country on a stolen motorcycle; he swapped out gas for solar power
• He is stoic and very calm most of the time: death and fights, okay; however, if he's exposed to free fire or a needle, he'll freak out (he'll try to hide what's going on internally, but his physiological reaction will betray him)
• He thinks he'd make a horrible parent
• While on the road, he'll visit garbage sites and throw himself into the bins and pick up thrown out toys. He'll repair them and then either send them to charity shops around the area or sell them if a flee market is happening soon.
• Even his level of detachment scares him at times and makes him wonder if he's at all human

• Every once in a while, Ed tries to understand how to properly, socially interact without getting people angry at him or having strife roll off him. These attempts are usually thinly veiled in attempted jokes and mimicking of interactions that seem to be acceptable.
• Although he calls everyone idiots, he sometimes marvels at their ability to interact with others
  
• Mattie annoys Ed so much because he (Mattie) kinda reminds Ed the level of hyperness and energy he (Ed) had as a kid and has lost
  
• Ed hasn't ever been into the forge because he's too afraid to go in after being out for so long
  
• The only people he mildly gives a damn about are Felicity and Lily; when lashing out at them, it is more Anger Born Out of Worry than real anger
  
• During the gap year, Ed traveled around on his motorcycle; his activities have warranted an arrest if he's ever found (one of his activities included helping a gang break into a store)
  
• Sometimes he doesn't even know why he stays around joint camp; he'd claim it's for the food and bed
  
• He takes road trips outside of camp and reverts to his old way of living when he feels too caged
