Hold on for a secondOne voice is enough To make sleeping giants wake up.
WORDS: 745 || TAGS: open [attr="class","nthlftsybdytxt1"]Alicia was dreaming and she knew that, or at least she thought she knew. She had been running and running in this dream for a good two miles. Her legs in the dream were starting to give out on her but she knew that they normally wouldn't do that. Unless she was trying her hardest to out run something that might have been chasing her. Alicia did get targeted by the monsters more so then most of her other demigod counter parts. With her being the daughter of Zeus her scent is more powerful and its harder for her to be out in the mortal world. As soon as she steps out of the safety of her camp she is a target because her scent is sent out to almost every single monster within a few mile radius. The longer she is out in the mortal world the worse everything gets and the more danger she is in.
In her dream, all around her were these trees that grew around her old house when she was with her grandmother in Florida. That was all she could see around her whenever she tried to look around. As she ran she was curious as to why she was running. What was chasing her? So she tried to stop running to see what she was running away from. When she turned around all she saw was the face of the Roman girl and Samantha. Samantha had a very sad face on her and she was bleeding from the chest where the death blow hit her. Alicia tried to speak but the Roman girl spoke instead. "This is what happens when you mess with the Romans." Alicia knew that the only reason the Roman girl went after her friend was because of the fact that Alicia killed her child. Of course there was no way Alicia could have known that the girl was pregnant.
Alicia looked at Sam who opened her mouth to speak but all that came out of her mouth was a blood curling scream. This jolted Alicia awake sending her into a fury trying to find her dagger. Next to her cot Alicia always kept a dagger in case of an attack on the camp. It was how she was able to feel safe enough to sleep here. Looking around her tent she noticed nobody was in her tent, she just had a very crappy dream was all. She wasn't afraid of her dream but she knew she felt guilty for her best friends death. Alex wasn't around much and she didn't know what even happened to the guy. All she cared about right now was the Renegades and Soren. Alicia got off her cot and stripped down her clothes. They were slightly damp from sweating while she slept. It only happened if she had a bad dream though, if she didn't have a bad dream she would be fine. Alicia changed into some training clothes. She wanted to try her hand in hand to hand combat today. She didn't honestly need a partner because punching a dummy was just as good as punching a live person. True the dummy didn't move at all but it was still the feel of punching and getting it into her muscle memory.
Alicia walked out of her tent with her dagger strapped onto her thigh. She kept it close to her at all times seeing as she refused to carry around a big sword in the camp. As she walked to the training field she got a bunch of looks from the other renegades. Some of them were looks of respect and others were looks of fear. She didn't know why some of the smaller renegades feared her but that wasn't what she truly wanted from them. She wanted them all to respect her even if she was a big three. When Alicia finally got to the training field she picked a dummy and started to punch it. As she punched she turned her wrist just slightly to give her punch a bit more of a kick to it. She hardly ever destroyed a dummy which was a good thing because she hated it when the other renegades did it. Alicia didn't hear any footsteps coming towards her as she kept punching the dummy. She knew that if the person tried to touch her right now she might turn around and punch them, depending on who the person was.

[googlefont="Griffy"][googlefont="Abel"] SEARCHING IN THE DARKNESS WE ARE CREATURES OF THE NIGHT RUNNING FROM THE DAY Alex arrived back from a self-made mission that he set out to find who his paternal heritage lied. This wasn't one of his first quests that he had taken on his own. He made plenty to learn more about the Titan that was called Hyperion but it wasn't something he could openly mention. It was lucky for him that he wasn't ever truly noticed around the camp, so it made it easy for him to go to and from easily. Along with his knack for refracting light around him, made it less tasking to get away from the camp along with people in general. Normally, he preferred to stray away from getting close to anyone because everyone could be a potential threat later or just end up dead at his feet. Life in the background was less distracting and allowed for more observation. That's why he decided to be a spy when the new Greek Renegade camp was formed. It made his own personal journey that more tangible to obtain. During his time away from camp, staying hidden away from the world was what made facing his dark demons easier to cope with. It wasn't something he wanted others to know about after all.
His time away had allowed him to miss the battle that had transpired between the Romans and the Greeks. He was a fighter but not one for such direct conflict. Not being one to see so many lives lost. Rather, he would prefer to see the ones that called the shots put down in the dirt. Be it God, Monster, or Titan, or even a Demi-mortal. It was hard to come back and see things the way they were, how they had changed a dear friend of his. Yet, this was the way their world worked. It wasn't something built on rainbows, unicorns, ambrosia, and love. Not it was something that was much darker than what the regular world could ever meet up to. That's why he knew he had to take in that darkness. Ironic how his father had gifted him with the power of light. Able to turn his darkness into the light to push back against the horrors that he had seen and are still yet to come forth. Not a day goes by where a new one will show its face but he will do his best to reveal them all, especially to his leader and close friend.
Feeling the tense atmosphere that had come across the joint camp that was only being held together by a truce. The darkness had settled here more so than ever now but at least the calm had settled in for the moment. Releasing a sigh, Alex would venture further into the camp cloaked by the refracted light around him. Not really attempting to move quietly now that he was on somewhat friendly grounds, he would make his way to find Alicia to check in on her after everything she had been through. It hurt him that he couldn't have been there for all the past incidents that had fallen on her since his time away but he felt as though she was in good hands. Now, one of those hands had fallen away to be burned to ashes and he had to help replace it. Looking into her tent was a failed attempt as no one was there. He looked around curiously and he heard some intense training going on in their field, along with a flash of blonde locks. Making his way over, he finally found who it was that he was looking for.
Standing by and observing her for a moment, he realized that she was trying to transfer her pain to the dummy that she was pummeling. Stepping closer, he stepped within arms length of her before speaking. Not realizing what kind of reaction he would get out of the daughter of Zeus at the moment. It had been sometime since they last saw each other. Last time was a much better and happier time. Not to bad, not the best, but still better. "You realize, the dummy isn't able to feel the pain you feel, right?" He slowly allowed for himself to be seen as he allowed for the light to begin revealing where he was.

Hold on for a secondOne voice is enough To make sleeping giants wake up.
WORDS: ### || TAGS: Alex [attr="class","nthlftsybdytxt1"]She heard his voice before she turned around. When she heard his voice she turned around in a complete 180 and just stared at him. She couldn't believe he was here. After everything that was going on she thought he was gone. After they burned Sam everything was so different. Alicia was alone after Alex left to go do something. He never really told her what it was and that upset her. So when he just showed up in her camp she didn't know what to say. She didn't even know what to do. "Alex....?" was all she could say. She didn't know what else she could say.
Alicia couldn't take not being in his arms right now. She needed a hug from him so she ran over to him and wrapped her arms around him tightly. She breathed in his sent and sighed happily. She missed Alex so much, she didn't know if he would want her to hug him. Alicia didn't really care to much if he did or not, she was giving him one. She cared about his wants but right now she needed the hug. She had not seen him in a while and she felt alone. She needed to not feel alone right now. Half of her own camp was afraid of her and the other half were butt kissers.
She pulled away from the hug her arms still around his neck though. "is this really you?" Alicia was afraid that if she said to much he would poof. She had dreams of when he would come back and none of them were like this. So she didn't know if this was just another one of her dreams or not. She didn't want it to be, she really wanted Alex to be here in front of her. "I missed you. Please don't leave again." Alicia mumbled the last part quietly. SEARCHING IN THE DARKNESS WE ARE CREATURES OF THE NIGHT RUNNING FROM THE DAY Alex watched her for a moment, observing how her reaction. Watching the female offspring of Zeus rotate to look upon his face. He ventured to realized that the person standing in before the demi-titan. Knowing who she was but now seeing what she had become was a major change to him. Not thinking that so much would transpire while he was gone. Time, an absurd concept but a concept that still effected all. Here was now, seeing how it had effected his friend with his duration away from everything. Alicia's look that she had placed upon him was akin to seeing a ghost. Something that the child of Hyperion could relate to since he normally stayed in the shadows. Again, the devil of time showing its face. If only the brilliant being that stood before him could be sent back. No, shit happens for a reason and what point was their to changing any of it now. He formed a weak smile to try and ease the pain and hurt that he saw trembling through her whole body. It was highly evident in the way she spoke his name.
Placing a foot slightly behind him, he prepared for anything as she rushed towards him but it was really the last thing that he had expected. Alex felt as though he didn't deserve what she just gave him. A punch, a kick, maybe even a jolt of lightning were the things that had crossed his mind but that wasn't what he was given. What he had received was a very pleasant and welcoming hug. Did he really earn this hug? Well, he couldn't truly think nor care about this right now. It wasn't what he thought that mattered at the moment. He could only wrap his own arms around her, bringing her in closer to his body. Standing there silent while the embrace warmed his heart more than the sun ever had done for him. That darkness within her had returned, he could feel it pouring out from all over her body. He felt as though he had been completely selfish with his leave of absence. Needing to make it up to her, he just held her til she was ready to talk. Not wanting to spoil this moment that was obviously hers. A tattooed had would reach up to caress her head as she buried her face into his chest.
It took a moment before words broke their silence. Looking into her eyes as Alicia pulled away, a grin formed across the male's face. "I promise this isn't one of my illusions. I'm the real deal. Here and present." He reached around to pull the blonde's hair out of her face and tuck it behind her. A frown would fall over his face as he took her words seriously. That look of concern, dread, sadness, and completely devoid of the light he had met her with. He knew those eyes all to well because he had those same eyes before he met this woman that had become his light. Shaking his head as he would speak lowly to her. "I will never leave you alone again. I can see that you go completely to shit when I'm not around. I promise I'm here to stay for good. No more going down my journey to find myself anymore." He looked away from those eyes as he was hurt and hated himself for being so selfish. Caring only for his own personal needs before hers. Knowing that she had always needed him, regardless of what his own thoughts were. "I'm sorry for not being here during everything that had happened."

Hold on for a secondOne voice is enough To make sleeping giants wake up.
[attr="class","nthlftsybdytxt1"]Alicia just held onto him while he talked. His warmth made her happy. She needed his warmth and she hated when he left. She loved being near him, she didn't know why he even left. Something about finding himself but she didn't know what that was. Did he go out to find who hits real father is? Or did he just go to find out who he was without her? She hoped it was the first one instead. She looked him over to see if he was injured like he did to her. It was a habit that she did when ever she saw him. She hated seeing him hurt. Alex had changed a little bit while he was gone. It looked like his hair got longer and he got more muscles. She wouldn't have minded either, she just missed him.
She put her hands on his cheeks softly and rubs his cheeks. She couldn't believe he was actually here in front of her. She could touch his face and kiss his lips. She went on her tiptoes and kissed him softly after he told her he was not going to leave again. She didn't know if that's what he wanted but she just had to. She needed to kiss him, to feel his lips on hers. She pulled away just enough to not have her lips on his anymore. She put their foreheads together, it was obvious that she forgave him. He meant the world to her. "I missed you. I hope you never leave again." she rubbed his cheeks softly over and over again. It was a shock for him to be her. He didn't seem to have any injuries but she just kept wanting to check.
She still could not believe that Alex was right here in front of her. Even though she could feel him and kiss him. She still did not believe that he was here. Alicia had missed him so much, the time he was gone meant nothing. She didn't care that he left. "I don't care that you left. You're here now. That's all that matters."

SEARCHING IN THE DARKNESS WE ARE CREATURES OF THE NIGHT RUNNING FROM THE DAY Her soft hand would slowly touch his face as he would lean into it. Alex was very remorseful on what he had put Alicia through but he had gained a lot of insight on who and what he was. It wasn't like someone else would do the job for him. Knowing at this age that he had to do a lot of things for himself. It was something else that had brought him back to the camp. The knowledge he held could up turn the tides. Not knowing truly if they would until they both started to make the changes needed. Would it be possibly to get everyone to follow in their changes? He only hoped that her own camp wouldn't leave her side with these new, up and coming changes. That was what normally pushed people away but things had to become better for everyone and the way things were going , they never would. Alicia had a lot on her plate and he wanted to help lighten the load. Noticing the strain that is was putting on her mental state. There were a lot more things that he was sure that she wasn't willing to speak about. Just wanting to enjoy this time span was all he could have asked for from her.
She placed a very gentle and sweet kiss on his lips. It had interested him in wanting more but this was not the time nor the place. A small smile growing on his face as he couldn't deny the allegations of her feelings now. It was something that he always wanted to be sure of but never could with him being away and having another suitor to take her time away. This moment improved upon the things that he always had considered. Her lips having left his own now, their foreheads together in an embrace. Feeling the emotions of forgiveness flow through the one he considered his soulmate. He listened to her words and smiled. Everything seemed to become solidified in how he had always felt the way they should have been. The feeling he got from being within her arms, the kiss that he had gotten, and the attention that he was receiving was on a different caliber that he had ever gotten from anyone else. His mother was one thing but she couldn't actually give him this kind of love that would tingle his loins.
His hand was still locked into Alicia's hair as he pulled it back and spoke to her. "I have missed you more than you could imagine. It's not easy being alone in this world, especially without someone like you. I will never leave your side for that reason alone. I know that I need you as close as possible to help keep me who I am today." He would stare at her for a moment, taking in everything that he could about her and within her. It was hard to let go of her and this situation as he would releasing the firm grip that he had on her hair. Looking away from her eyes for a moment, thinking about the true pain that he had caused. "What brought you here anyway? I don't imagine that you just wanted to beat some silly dummy into the ground after all."

[attr="class","nthlftsybdytxt1"]Why was alicia standing in the middle of a training field. She was angry for some reason but now the reason didn't even cross her mind. She had no real idea why she was beating up a training dummy. Her knuckles were probably bruised and cut up because the dummies are not made very well. They didn't have many hephy kids here at camp. The ones they did have would rather spend time training then making weapons. It was not like the camp had a forge in the first place. That was something that Alicia needed to get built, along with some cabins so nobody has to stay in tents anymore. She hated living in a tent and she wanted to go back to how things were before. She wanted to have no idea the Roman demigods were alive. Alicia wanted to believe that things could go back to the way they were.
"I don't know." She said after thinking. She honestly got that way sometimes. She got lost in her train of thought and she just did not know anything anymore. She kept looking Alex over though. Trying to make sure he had no wounds because then she would have to take him to the medic tent. She was sure the medics did not want to see her there again. She always trained without her gloves on when she was punching the dummies. So she always had to go get patched up, they gave her ambrosia and she was fine the next day. "You don't have any injuries that need attending to right?" She said a little worried. She did not want him to be hurt or have anything wrong. Alicia just looked at him unsure what to say or do. She loved him and now she understood that. She should have told him how she felt when he told her, instead of running. "Where did you go?" She asked him while her hand rubbed his arm softly.

SEARCHING IN THE DARKNESS WE ARE CREATURES OF THE NIGHT RUNNING FROM THE DAY Alex had to get her mind back into gear for the things that they were about to face. Noticing that she seemed to have lost her way just a bit but that was no longer going to be the case. She was a strong woman, one that could achieve so much. She already did so without his guidance. With him, she was going to get to where she needed to be. All this fighting was going to end and he was going to help everyone see that she was a force to be reckoned with. The Romans weren't great people but sadly they were still kin. Once they had their heads out of their asses, he felt they could make some advancements but right now he didn't see that happening. That was why they had to get the Greek Renegades prepared for anything. The Romans could decided to instigate another war or the Titans could decide to emerge from the depths themselves. No one was ready for what was to come, he had seen it with his own eyes. Either way, Alicia was what he cared about the most and she cared about the Greeks. Her goals were his own now.
Taking her hand from his cheek, he would feel the roughness of her warrior hands. Looking down to notice the bruises on them. A sigh would escape his lips as he would take a step back from her, listening to her words as she spoke. Placing both of his hands on her right hand, a faint light would emit from them. "I don't have any but it seems like you do." He could tell that she was lost still, physically and mentally. She had no self-regard to herself when she became like this but always found time for everyone else. Not like it was a bad thing but can't be much help to others she wore herself down to the bone. The light would go away as he removed his hands from her right one, healing the bruises she had caused to herself from not wearing any gloves. His father did gift him with some good abilities at least. Putting them to good use in one way or another. Only wanting to use them for his own purpose other than fighting though. Not saying he couldn't fight, just that he preferred finding alternate ways of dealing with things.
Grabbing her left hand, she would ask him a question that he was expecting. One that he knew would come up or he would have to explain eventually. Clasping both his hands around her left, repeating the process that he did with her right. Looking back into her eyes, he would try to figure out the right words to say even though he ran this scenario through his head so many times before. "I've been to a lot of places while I was gone. I've seen the world, above and below. I needed to find out who I was and who my father was. Understanding him helped me understand myself. It also gave me more insight on the situation we were in with the world changing battle we are facing." He would release her hands as he felt her grab his arms right after. Pulling her back in to kiss her forehead. "That part of my journey is done now. The next step his helping you and helping the Greeks. Things aren't going to get any easier. I saw that from my own experiences recently. We need to get ourselves and the others prepared."

[attr="class","nthlftsybdytxt1"]She gasped when he healed her knuckles. She didn't honestly know he could do that to be fair. This was the first time he was doing this. When he moved to her other hand she still gasped. It was really cool and she wished she could do something like that. "I'm glad you are okay. I don't know what I would do if you were not." Alicia spoke softly to him when he would speak. He kissed her on the forehead and she leaned into him. His kisses sent a warmth through her body. That was the one thing she had always liked about Alex. When he would hug her or even just touch her, she would feel so happy. She really wanted to know what he found it.
Alicia never imagined that Alex would get to meet his father. Even if Alex had just found out and not gotten to meet him, it was amazing. Everyone knew who Alicia's father was. She was one of the proud Zeus kids. She loved her father and she probably would listen to him no matter what. Unless he told her that the Greek renegades had to join with the joint camp. "who is your father?" she asked still with a soft voice. She couldn't imagine his as an Apollo kid though. Even though that's what everyone at camp thought. Most Apollo kids were to kind for their own good and stayed in the medic tent. Alex would train with her at camp. He didn't seem like an Apollo kid. At least not to her he wasn't. Alicia looked up into his eyes and smiled kindly. She truly did know how she felt towards him now.
