[attr="class","cbody"]Alyce was not suppose to leave the camp without an escort, she could hardly leave her cabin without her brother breathing down her neck and yet she still managed to occasionally sneak away from the camp without even the best of eyes watching her. She had a hard time being an individual while within her brothers domain. Some days she felt like Cosmos only saw her as property and it honestly bothered her a little bit. She loved Cosmos with all her heart and he was her family, she had no one else in the world who would love her more than he did, but it still didnt numb the pain of the fact she knew her brother might never let her be her own person outside of his camp. None of that mattered at the moment though, she was free for a couple of hours at least.

She had stopped at a book store, there where so many marvelous books to be owned and she loved reading. Honestly it was all she could do in camp lately. Locked away from the eyes of the men in camp though occasionally she was graced with the presence of Cosmos, Tyler, and Ludwig. It wasnt to bad she had her friend Audrey who basically helped take care of Alyce so she didnt have to mingle to much. Of course again Alyce would sneak off here and there and Audrey would cover for her, so far Cosmos hadnt figured it out. With her bag of books and the one she currently had her eyes locked onto she began to walk down the street, then suddenly as if she collided with a brick wall she felt the presence of another being pressed against her for a split second before she stumbled back and hit the wall behind her with a frown.

Alyce had always been graceful, but she had never had to worry about crowded streets before. Well to say the least she wasnt use to a lot of things in the new world. She had dropped her book among her stumble and honestly she felt terrible what she had hurt the other person. Alyce looked up at the male she ran into and her heart instantly stopped. He was tall and extremely handsome, she`d never seen someone who looked like that before. A blush instantly covered her cheeks when she realized she had been the cause of delaying this male to whatever destination he had planned to go to. No doubt if her brother had been there he`d stare down the male, make her apologize for being clumsy, and drag her off after she had barely gotten a stutter out. Luckily it was just her here with this handsome specimen. Alyce fumbled to push the hair from her face as she looked up at him an embarrassed smile on her face. "Pardon me sir, I was not paying attention to my path. I apologize for colliding into you. I should have been watching ahead of me rather than keeping my nose in a book. My brother would be so displeased." she bit her lip and looked down just waiting for him to begin yelling at her.

Sebastian scratched at his stubble as he walked down the street, a cigarette in his mouth. He was somewhere in California, though the city was unknown and entirely foreign to him, but after spending a year occupying the Fields of Punishment he wasn't about to start complaining about the unbearable heat. Luckily he'd dressed for the occasion, as he was decked out in a pair of cargo shorts, a white t-shirt displaying the Union Jack, and a pair of black high top shoes, all of which were stolen from various stores in the area because he lacked funding. He looked pretty fly, if he did say so himself, and since he often thought very highly of himself he did say so, quite frequently. 

Ever since Judas had aided him in escaping the Underworld Sebastian had turned into somewhat of a loner, often disappearing for hours to just walk around and explore the unfamiliar territory in an attempt to feel normal again, but it didn't really work. The Fields of Punishment had done quite a number on him mentally and physically, causing him to constantly be haunted by the memories, the literal ghosts of his past. No matter how fast or far he ran he couldn't escape them and it was just going to have to be something that he lived with. That thought scared him.

Sebastian could live with a lot, as he'd been alive for nearly three hundred and twelve years, travelling the world in search of his vacant father, and he'd had a number of adventures in that time. He'd stolen an apple of immortality from Atlas himself, sexed up hundreds upon hundreds of beautiful women across the world, befriended a kraken, and even gained the hatred of an Olympian, a big three God by the name of Poseidon. Recently, after escaping the Underworld, he was sure he had gained the hatred of Hades as well and it was only a matter of time before he gave Zeus an excuse. However, asking him to forget the horrors he had endured in the Fields of Punishment? That was impossible, and he knew within his heart of hearts that it was something that would always dwell in the back of his mind, a constant reminder of all the sins he had committed over the centuries.

While lost in thought he started to wander aimlessly, not paying much attention to his surroundings, and found himself bumping into a young, dark haired girl. She stumbled backwards, falling into the wall behind her and an instant feeling of guilt caused him to cringe inwardly as he had barely moved at all. Graceful was definitely not an adjective that to describe Sebastian Crane and he was more accustomed to drunkenly staggering all over the place, but he'd managed to keep his footing this time. The strange girl righted herself, her face was red with embarrassment and pleas of forgiveness were coming from her mouth. At least that's what he assumed she was doing because he was too busy checking her out. It was an old habit and he did to everyone, but this was more of a sexual nature than his usually precarious habits. She was beautiful, with hair the color of a raven and a set of blue eyes that matched his off colored one. Finally, the girl looked down and she was silent, and Sebastian assumed it was his turn to speak, if only he could find his words...

"You're... you're gorgeous," he said without thinking. He blinked and bite his lip. "I mean... it's uh... it's okay. I wasn't watching where I was going either... I'm Sebastian."

Alyce practically felt her heart beat out of her chest when he complimented her, she felt her cheeks get hot and her heart race faster than what she had ever felt before. Something about this male made her so uncomfortable, but not in the bad way more like she couldnt control her feelings, her thoughts, her words. It was like time stood still and it was just her and what had he said his name was? Sebastian. She could feel her cheeks still bright red, was it from embarrassment of bumping into him or was it actually from him complimenting her? Alyce had never had such words spoken to her before, surely many a man had looked upon her back when in their old town but none of them spoke up from fear of her brothers wrath. Alyce bit her lip for a moment longer before she looked up and met his eyes. She noticed the color, his eyes reminded her of the ocean. He was extremely handsome she doubted her brother would ever be alright with her hanging about with him. "Its a pleasure to met you Mister Sebastian." She gave him a gentle smile it wasnt fake or planned it was just how Alyce smiled. She was a kind girl who loved just about anyone and everything. She was a gentle soul and many people could see it in her eyes, her eyes held her emotions. She took a step away from the wall and began to fiddle with her fingers, she did not reach out to shake his hand or make any movement towards him. She bit her lip again debating giving him a fake name but she decided that it wasnt going to cause any harm to give her name to a complete stranger who she would probably never seen once they parted way. She spoke in a very gentle tone her british accent was clear and well most people would catch onto it. "My name is Alyce." She smiled brighter and spoke this time a little louder. "Thank you Mister Sebastian, not many people would tell a women she was gorgeous. Its very kind of you and if I am not over stepping my bounds I`d like to admit that I find you rather handsome and charming. I find your eyes to be very beautiful." Alyce was not use to being so forward but she found herself to fancy this man. Perhaps it was the british accent he himself carried, or the color of his eyes, or maybe it was the way he made her feel so safe having just met him. Alyce made a choice there that moment. She moved him her heart racing a mile a minute leaving a couple inches between them and tucked a strand of her fallen hair away once more. "Would you perhaps fancy a walk with me?" She looked a little nervous, of course she`d never had one on one male contact with someone who was not her brother. Cosmos kept his little sister under lock and key. For her to act in such a manner would forever hurt her brothers trust for her. She had debated the pros and cons of this choice and oddly enough she felt that she could live with it. "I have been told there is a beautiful park not far from here. I bought a blanket earlier and some books. Perhaps you`d like to come with me, I could read to you if you please." She giggled softly. Alyce had never really read to anyone who wasnt teaching her but she wanted nothing more than to spend some more time with this boy.
