if you ask me what happiness is when this life is done, maybe when this love is gone Jasper was stuck in potions class it was torture, sure he was smart and able to do the work but that would take effort and in all honesty Jasper just didnt care enough to do it right now his mind was somewhere else and it wasnt in this stupid classroom. He heard the giggling of some girls who were seated infront of him and jasper rolled his eyes, they were some slytherin girls so gods only knew what they were talking about. Jasper tapped his fingers to the desk as loudly as possible until finally the class ended, had a whole class session gone by already? Jasper was a Slytherin boy and his parents were both purebloods and while his parents hated everything muggle Jasper didnt exactly care either way. He wasnt sure what to do in all honesty he was use to being told they were bad and what not but Jasper didnt have a problem with them yet. He gathered his things from his desk and got up moving to leave the classroom, the two girls from earlier flocked to him and began to flirt and giggle. Jasper let out a sigh and placed a hand on their shoulders shoving them both to the side before walking between them with out a second thought. It wasnt that he didnt like girls, he loved girls they were a hobby of his but he had something he had to go do today. Walking from the classroom he could hear the girls complaining about how he treated them and of course a smirk crossed his lips because he knew they`d be back probably within the week. Jaspers family was known for being rich, the DeRavens had a great deal of money and when Jasper took an interest in a girl he spoiled her even if they werent an item. Jasper however was preoccupied with something else or well someone to be more specific. He normally didnt date he hated being tied down and since most the girls who were pureblood were in slytherin he avoided them like the plague because most of them wanted to settle down with a pureblooded slytherin boy. Settling down right now was NOT an option for Jasper, he didnt want marriage or arrangements for marriage right now. He had found a girl outside of the pureblood line that he found to be interesting and attractive to him. Jasper knew where they normally met and he had to put on a small show to get her alone. He headed to the court yard and spotted lily with a small group of her friends, they hadnt exactly come out as a couple yet per Jaspers request so he moved to the girls and put on his best smirk. " Well look what we have here, the little flower hiding among the weeds." He moved through the crowd of girls and grabbed Lily gently by the arm before leading her away from the group. " Lets go girly, we need to talk." He kept a stern voice but his hand was gentle to show her he wasnt actually going to hurt her. Once they were out of eyesight he moves towards a deserted hallway and released her arm chuckling slightly. He moved carefully to push a strand of her hair from her face before stroking her cheek delicately. Jasper use to be a player, he had girls upon girls but this hufflepuff girl had given him a new chance to restart and secret relationships were always so much better than the known ones. Lily was in the same house as his sister so he could always make an excuse if they got caught. He moved to the pocket inside his robe and quickly pulled out a small gift for the hufflepuff girl. In his hand was a long black velvet box and inside it was a silver bracelet with a single charm on it, a silver lotus charm. He loved the way Lotus flowers looked, they were beautiful and they just different. He smiled softly and held the box to her. " Oh look what I have here, a beautiful little box with a surprise in it for you." He smirked slightly and held the box out but up since he was taller than her. He had to pick on her a little bit it was in his blood it was who he was. He kept his eyes on her not really worried about who else might show up because right now it looked like he was honestly picking on her. You can imagine when Lily Rose's parents first experienced their daughter getting magical powers, they were terrified. Dealing with magical children wasn't written down in a handbook, they couldn't ask for advice because it seemed ridiculous. Thankfully, though, they didn't hate their little girl. Her gift was welcomed with open arms in the house, but as they had no explanation for it she wasn't allowed to do anything out of the ordinary outside of their home. It was childish and funny things, like when if she wanted a cookie and was told no, it would float out of the cookie jar and into her room. Of course, her mother and father began to anticipate this so nine times out of then the cookie would be snatched out of the air and eaten quickly. The two parents wondered and wondered, until the man came. He said that he was from Hogwarts, a school for witches and wizards. Lily was obviously ecstatic, bouncing off of the walls. There were other people like her, a place that she belonged. Years later after that, going to Hogwarts was still like a dream. The spells, the potions, quidditch...everything. The house she was a part of, her family, was Hufflepuff. Badgers, hardworking and loyal. It was safe to say that she wouldn't have traded this life for anything. After gathering her things up, Lily thought about going to the courtyard and hanging out there for a bit with her friends. She loved being out in the sun, after all. As she walked with her group, she let her mind wander. Seeing couples, her thoughts landed on Jasper. It was silly, right? He was a pureblood and probably shouldn't even be giving her the time of day what with blood purity and general dislike of muggleborns going on. But..he did anyway. The girls giggling whenever they saw him didn't bother her, she agreed with them. Jasper was absolutely gorgeous, dangerous and confident. He had a bit of a temper....but it didn't matter to her. She could calm him down just fine on her own and he never hurt her. Besides, she could take care of herself if he tried to. Lily hoped that he knew that too. Then there was that tiny voice in her head, the one that told her that this wasn't permanent. It couldn't be. In the end it probably wouldn't be. Maybe he would get tired of her, but she always tried to think of ways to keep herself interesting. Always look presentable and pretty so she would never feel self conscious around the other girls. She wouldn't lose to them, because at the present time he was hers. They could giggle and flutter their eyelashes all they wanted, it didn't matter. The conversation she had with her friends was light, happy. It kept her distracted from the thought of his hands, his lips that she almost always found herself staring at. She was safe until she heard his voice, saw that smirk. Her friends stifled giggles, some resisted the urge to let these looks flash across they're faces. " Uh...hey." Before she could react properly, her arm was grabbed and she was led away. Not reluctantly, never reluctantly. But her friends didn't know about them. " Oh....okay." So intelligent, right? The two got to a deserted hallway, for which Lily was grateful for because of the solitude. When he chuckled, she felt her face grow warm. Even after he released her arm, she could still feel his touch. She leaned into his touch, looking up at him with a soft smile and adoration in his eyes. He could sometimes be a not so nice person, but she loved him anyway. This secret relationship was exciting, it made her heart beat faster. While she would have liked for her friends to know because they would be happy for her, she respected his request to keep it secret. His sister, Jacqueline, was in her house. So it wouldn't be too strange for them to be seen together, she could easily make up where his sister could be and walk away like she didn't want too much to do with him. Her eyes watched his hand go to his pocket, confusion flashing across her face for just a second. When he pulled the box out, her eyes widened slightly. Was that for her? She reached for it gingerly, wondering what was in there. A laugh escaped her lips when he held it up, slightly out of reach. " Okay, now that's just unfair." Lily put her hands on her hips, mouth twitching with the desire to laugh. She stood up on the tip of her toes to grab at it, her endeavor successful. " Hmm, this is such a pretty box!" She opened it up to look inside, her mouth going into a little 'o' shape. " Oh, Jasper..." What did she do to deserve this? @jasper Jin Sohn Juliet DeRaven

I move from dreamer to dreamer, from dream to dream, hunting for what I need. Who would've thought that someone as quiet and out of the way as Jin would ever end up in Slytherin? Well to Jin that was no surprise at all. The hat seemed to look deeper inside of a person then what's presented on the surface, if that was the case Jin was a lot like an iceberg. Jin remained quiet as they await for their hufflepuff friend to arrive for lunch. Most of the other Slytherins didn't like the other classes and wondered why Jin would waste their time on one? It was for the simple fact that once they were done with this school houses didn't mean anything. Talent was talent and if a wizard remembered how much of a douche you were to them back in school they might not be interested in helping you if you needed it. So Jin always thought of the furture and their best interests. Jacqueline was a pretty good Witch and had tons of potential and if she could remember Jin as a good person and a friend then that was a plus. This didn't mean that Jin didn't actually care. They like to invest in other people and treat them nicely as well. This is what made them different from most Slytherins, the way they were ambitious and cunning but in a way that didn't rub off on people. They realized right away that people like halfbloods and sometimes muggles weren't bad people and accepted them. If left to the ideals of Slytherin wizards would probably be extinct.
In any case they were waiting for their friend at the stair case of the hallway that wasn't used very often. Jin liked eating there because it was quiet and away from the others. They always managed to sneak some snacks away before eating at dinner. Today's haul was plenty of sweets, they hoped their friend liked it. Speaking of which they wondered of that was them because they heard voices. However there was more then one voice, Jin peered out of the stairwell to peek at who that was. They noticed two people at the end of the hallway but couldn't make out who they were. Jin remained silent and curious, overhearing most of the conversation.

Ignore the awkward and enjoy Jacqueline had a little bit of a skip in her step as she walked through the corridors of the old castle. She had finally got the hang of a certain spell that had been troubling her for the past week, she had to ask a friend of hers that was a year older and then spent hours on it afterwards. She wasn't exactly the best when it came to the motions for some of the spells, it was either too fluid or too strict of a motion, no inbetween, which really showed at times on her grades. She didn't want to be a disappointment though, not with her brother also taking the same classes, granted not always at the same time. But she didn't want to be the let down in the family and she wanted to make good grades so that her brother would be proud of her too. She always did like getting his attention like that and she loved those rare few moments when they worked together.
She made he way down the staircase of one of the ones not used all too often and smiled brightly when she saw her friend. While it was true that most people kept their distance from slytherins Jacqueline had had no problem with them. Granted, she had the advantage that her brother was one and so she knew a few of them, but they were still intimidating. Yet, there was one that she was happy to call her friend. Jin, they were a curious one and she found that they made good company, though she really took her house stereotpye seriously of being one of the friendly and gentle witches around, a stark contrast when compared for her brother.
"Jin! Sorry, I was busy practicing, I didn't keep you waiting did I? I'm sorry" She said softly as she finished running down the staircase, seeing that they were focused on something she tilted her head. Were there more people coming or was someone down the hall? "What are you looking at?" She asked to them in a whisper before catching up to them and following their prior gaze. She couldn't help but to gasp at who she saw and quickly move her head away from being seen. Was that really her brother and classmate? What were they doing? She didn't know much about the younger girl except that she sometimes saw her in the common room. They seemed to be so close and there was that box, was it a box? It looked like a box. What was in it? She never would have thought in a million years that her brother might show interest in someone. Maybe she was just overreacting, she was just curious was all and she had always been a little bit of a romantic deep down. Just what was going on here.
