DREAMS: Their dreams are everyone's dreams. They would like remain in the dream world and roam freely in dreams forever.
FEARS: Being caught up in a war they didn't ask for.
One first glance, Jin looks like a serious person with a lot on their mind but the truth is they are far from what they appear to be. Jin is a dreamer, literally as the child of Somnia, Roman counterpart to Morpheus Jin can walk into the dreams of others and manipulate them at will. They're rather easy going and would prefer to sleep over anything. So Jin is pretty sluggish and very lazy in the waking world. In the dream realm they're very active and mobile. So of course when the war happened Jin noped out of there and went AWOL. They don't even care about the Greeks they were on the opposite side not bothering anyone. Jin wasn't a fan of the idea of going into battle and Jin was upset when they heard that the camp was destroyed. Jin doesn't hate anyone specifically but they're rather disappointed that the camp and lots of people were destroyed. So many dreams....crushed. Jin is easy going and finds everything to be a drag but isn't about violence like the rest of the Romans seem to be.

Jin was born to a South Korean immigrant named Min Sohn. She met Jin's father through a series of dreams she was having about a beautiful man with white hair. And soon she met this man and felt the need to spend a night with him. After that he disappeared and she was pregnant. Again she had dreams with the same man. He apologized to her and explained to her that he was Somnia the Roman god of dreams. And that her child will be a demigod and they will be taken to a place were they can train to protect themselves and conquer their powers. Of course Min objected to this, but eventually she couldn't deny it. She was still talking to him in her dreams and kept into contact with her this way.
Nine months later Jin was born and right away all this child wanted to do was sleep. Jin barely did anything but sleep, Min tried to keep them up but it was no use. There was something more interesting about being asleep then awake, it was when their powers run rampant. Jin would dream and had control over their dreams and eventually ended up in their mothers dream where they saw a glimpse of their dad. After that Jin was always looking for a man with white hair.
Eventually at the age of Ten Jin was tested and join Camp Jupiter when they was deemed worthy, which was surprising considering all they did was sleep. But despite that they were a tough a fearsome fighter. The trainers often yelled that them for sleeping and also they had a bad habit of waltzing into peoples dreams and changing it to what they liked. But most were friendly with Jin in hopes that they'd give them pleasant dreams.
Eventually war broke out and Jin wasn't having it, they left after the Roman troops headed out. Jin didn't care about the Greeks they were one the other said of the States, who care??? But apparently the Praetor did and everyone followed him, save for Jin. Jin began to roam around freely, looking for the man with white hair known as Somnia and entering peoples dreams. Then when they tried to return to Camp Jupiter, it was in ruins. Jin was sad and disappointed. They knew they shouldn't have fought with Camp Halfblood. Jin then continued on to roam freely, running into renegades of other campers getting the whole story. Jin makes a living doing odd jobs but also is known as the sand man to renegades. Campers look to them to heal their souls and emotions that were torn from war. And they do just that proudly helping both sides despite what others think.

POWERS & ABILITIES
-[SWEET DREAMS ARE MADE OF THIS]- Jin has the ability Onierokinesis, or Dream Manipulation which allows them to create, shape, enter, and manipulate theirs and other peoples dreams and do a number of things to said dreams like modifying, influencing, manifesting, sensing, and observing dreams. Jin can also do this to nightmares and daydreams, they can even change dreams to nightmares. vice versa, making lucid dreams and is able to emotionally/spiritually heal people through dreams. The only main drawback is that their powers only work on those that are asleep. And even then they have a certain amount of time between when the user is asleep and when they wake up again. Those who suffer from insomnia are barred from their abilities and any damage taken in the dream realm does not carry over into the real world.
-[GO THE **** TO SLEEP]- Jin is able to cause sleep inducement, through their voice or even physical touch one can find themselves lulling into a calm state until they finally fall asleep. Their voice can sooth people to be calm but their touch is better to put people to sleep. Drawback include not actually falling asleep to their voice, those with insomnia are unaffected, and like it's treated like normal sleep so eventually the person will wake up.
