Kinley had been searching for Pogue for months, he had left the new greek/roman combination camp due to personal hatred for the Greeks and she was pretty sure, actually no she was positive he was not coming back. Kinley didn`t know the extent of why Pogue hated the Roman and she refused to ask him, that was his business but all she knew was that she didn`t mind the peace between the Romans and the Greeks she just wished it had been under much better circumstances. Kinley sat at the trunk of a tree and sighed softly pulling her imperial gold wand from her holster. She looked over the intricate designs she loved so much, her mother had done a wonderful job having the weapon designed for her and she thanked her each time she used it to survive in the world around her. This was a time of war and she needed to stay a live as long as possible, Pogue needed to stay alive, and she`d do anything to keep them from being hurt, dying, or captured by either of the groups. That was if she could manage to find him.
Kinley had almost dosed off when she heard the snapping of a branch and jumped. Another sound followed, a whistle and that sent kinley into a panic. A hunting party perhaps, were they Greeks or Romans? She frowned and stood up but it was to late, two men where in her path. They didnt adorn the roman symbols so she knew at that instant she was in trouble. The taller male spoke, "Well well look what we have here, a little girl who got lost in the woods." Kinley flinched slightly and went to back up another male playing with her blonde hair. Crap. The first male spoke again. "Alright boys lets make this fast the girls a roman." Kinley frowned realizing her tattoos were showing and she gripped her wand tighter. She hated violence but now was not a time to be playing hostage. One of the males reached out to grab kinleys wand but she slung and elbow back into his stomach and took off past him trying to outrun the males. Kinley was short and fast, but was she faster than these greeks? They must have been renegades because no normal greek was stupid enough to harm a Roman.
Kinley could hear laughter following her and she grabbed a tree to steady herself as she shook, she moved around the tree and pressed her back to it with a frown taking a deep breath, but then everything was silent around her, like the world had stopped. She frowned slightly a slight tinge of pain in her side. When she turned to look she has a weapon pressed to her stomach. She looked at the male and frowned. He pressed the weapon into her skin and she bit back a scream her wand glowing brightly now. She pointed the imperial gold at the male and closed her eyes. When she finally opened her eyes the male was slumped against the tree and his friends were gone. Kinley looked at her side the knife hadnt been pushed fully into her skin, it was a small cut she could stitch it up with the right medical supplies but first she had to find them. Kinley let her body sink to the ground and let out a sigh of relief. Pain was good, it meant she was still alive.

Normally the woods surrounding where the Romans were set up was quiet. Too quiet for some people's taste but it worked for Felicity. She was use to the quiet. In fact, she found it calming. Plus, it made it easier to hunt for food. It would have been absolutely fantastic if trying to rebuild Rome to it's former glory but it was proving impossible. Though, she had to keep reminding herself, Rome wasn't built in a day. Nor was it built by a woman but hey, that just meant she had double the reason to prove herself.
The game was weak today too. Barely anything in sight, it was unusual. It made Felicity tense because it probably meant that something had been disturbing the natural wildlife besides her only little group. So instead of just making this a short easy trip she was now on guard and when the scream finally pierced her ears she could already feel her blood boiling as she ran in the direction running straight into one of the men who seemed to be running for their lives. As they glanced down at the girls arm she took that as an advantage since they were distracted and used her unsheathed sword to ram it into the gut of the closest one, making the other guy go pale as she pulled the sword out of the limp body and went for the lone survivor. It was a bit of a wrestle since he tried to fight back but in the end Felicity's sword and shirt were covered in blood. She quickly wiped the blood off the sword, sheathing it vowing to clean it later as she ran in the direction the men were coming from.
She almost tripped at the sight of the body in the path only because it was literally on the path. Felicity's eyes doing just what the men before hers did and glanced at the tattoo on the girls wrist. "Good, you're one of us." Felicity said, almost relieved before noticing the wound. It wasn't bad, she would live but it probably wasn't pleasant at the moment. And as much as Felicity wanted to interrogate her on where her true allegiance lie she knew that it wouldn't be doing either of them any good. Best bet would be to get this girl to safety and let her get patched up, then ask the questions. Though, her face looked familiar but Felicity just couldn't put a name to it. "Can you stand? I can take you to safety and you don't need to worry about the other two losers, they're taken care of." Felicity said, giving a nod at the company who lay hunched over, taken down by what she presumed was the girl in front of her. "Good job with him by the way. Did you use that wand? Trivia?" Felicity asked, noticing the gold wand in the girls hand, figuring she must be a child of Trivia in order to be able to wield it.
Simple conversation to distract the girl from whatever pain was good right? Like Felicity knew, she wasn't a child of Apollo. She knew death better than anyone and the darkness of the shadows. How to save a person, that was an entire country to her. words: 555 notes: Hope this works

Living like we'reKinley had just started to close her eyes when someones voice broke through the darkness that was her closed lids. She practically jumped when she heart the voice and winced in pain. Kinley was no stranger to pain she was a roman she had pain everyday she fought and she fought frequently when she had been in Camp Jupiter. She fought not only for her camp but for the love of preator as well. Cato had been the preator she fought for, the man she had once given her everything to. Girls would challenge her each and every day in order to see if they could win the glance of the emperor that was Cato Sinclair, but none of them ever successfully over threw the girl. Kinley had been catos lover since before he had become preator, she had won his heart over early so there was no doubt in her mind that he was her one true love at least not until the day he picked the Titan born child Celestia over her. Cato and Kinley had a falling out before the war, she tried to not give in and go back to him and when all was said and done and the war ended her lovers life was gone....
Kinley had never forgiven Baltazar and the others for what they took from her but she stayed because her family had needed her. Finally she feel in love once more with a man named pogue. He too had lost someone near and dear to him and so the two flourished together. Thats why she was out in the woods. She was looking for pogue. Quickly Kinley realized the girl was staying and frowned when she began to speak. " I detest violence however I did what I had to in order to live. I can walk just fine thank you, I dont think its that bad." Kinley moved to stand up but cried out in pain, the knife had gone deeper than she had thought. She decided to take her mind off of the pain from the wound. "Yes, Trivia is my mother." She winced and spoke through broken breaths. "My names Kin...Kinley." She moved to tuck her wand away and looked up at the girl with a half hearted smile. "You, who are you and why are you helping me?" She raised a brow and moved slightly her eyes shutting as another string of pain shot though her. Kinley frowned slightly at the thought of this girl helping her, if she went on a detour she may never find pogue.

You can trust me but you don't believe me
Stubborn, yep, definitely a Roman. They were never one to accept help willingly. She looked at the girl curiously, she looked a little family, but she couldn't place the name. It was on the tip of her tongue but just out of reach. It might have just been because she was blonde too, they all seemed to look alike at times. But no, that wasn't it and before Felicity could let her mind wander anymore her train of thought was distracted by the girl trying to get up. Instinctively she went out to help her, but hesitated from what she said earlier. The Roman camp wasn't too far from her, if Felicity could trust her then she would take her there to get treated, but she couldn't risk just anyone getting into the camp after all and if the girl was a traitor to Rome then those men were the least of the girls problem. "Hey, easy. You're just going to hurt yourself more."
Then she said her name and Felicity couldn't help but let out a small laugh. That's why she was familiar, the girl who loved Cato. She remembered walking past the duels for the guys heart and shaking her head at the matches. She never was one to like Cato like that, she admired his leadership ability, yeah, but nothing more. But hey, everyone else could have him for all she cared, at the time she was already with someone she loved and honestly thought Cato could do with having his ego knocked a couple of steps, but she never said anything. She liked keeping her senate seat and her position as centurion so she just did her duty to Rome, and part of that was dealing with Cato as one of the praetors.
"That explains why you looked so familiar, I remember you now. You liked Cato. Oh, and I'm Felicity and I know you're a Roman so yeah, that's why I'm helping. What are you doing out here anyway?" Felicity asked, the friendly tone used at the beginning of her speaking turning into one more full of suspicion. After all, why would Kinley come back so unannounced? She wanted to help her, yeah, everyone would know who Kinley was after all and Felicity would mentally slap herself even more because of how she forgot. But she could prove helpful too if she stayed. Trivia children had a lot of unique traits and abilities after all. Besides, Felicity never have any problems with Kinley, she admired her at times for how she was able to stay next to Cato for so long, that took a special kind of determination and faithfulness that a lot of people could learn from.
