| Camp Half-Blood was no more. That was for certain. Luna didn't blame the Roman camp for anything. Some things were made to be destroyed. Pretty much anything and everything was meant to break down at some point or another. Still, it was a pity that the camp had to go so quickly. Most of the time Luna didn't get too close to anything in particula and camp was no exception. She liked the way that this form of camp had appeared, it was nice and seemed to fit the modern world well- but then again, camp always did. For demigods like herself, camp was a safehaven from monsters and the world outside the borders. Luna wasn't afraid of any monster that was out there. She was a huntress, a warrior who was meant to fight monsters that came up from the depths of tartarus.
It was somewhat foolish for the huntress to return to the site of camp but she couldn't help it. There was something about the place that made her want to return. It was like a pinch to make certain that she hadn't dreamt the who thing up. On the other hand, Luna was also looking for something she left back when the camp had first been attacked. The odds that it was still here were slim, but the child of Athena was determined to look. She placed towards the place where the old Artemis cabin would have stood and scoured the ground looking for a small wooden box.
There was a lot of dust that accumulated over the past months, making the actual rubble difficult to find. Luna brushed away the dust with her hands and found a portion of the old shiny Artemis cabin. There was no time for her to be sentimental. Instead, she kept looking. There was a locket somewhere here that had been given to her by a friend. It wasn't anything special or enchanted, it was just a piece of jewelry that Luna wanted to keep- if she could find it. The necklace had been given to her by an old hunter friend who passed away in the camp attack. Even after all this time, Luna thought that there was some hope of finding it. She didn't want to run into any other person because Luna didn't want anyone to know that she cared enough to go looking for something as small as a necklace. Of course, other friends had given Luna things over the course of the years, but she liked to, at least, try to keep some memory of fallen sisters and friends.
It was only normal for other demigods to be drawn to the place that was formerly known as Camp Half-Blood. There was some sort of mystical energy that ran through the area. When Luna felt the presence of another, she wasn't all too shocked. "Oh, Hello." she said calmly to the other, not really bothering to look up from her search. |

[googlefont="IM Fell DW Pica SC:400"] [attr="class","an_actual_ship"] [attr="class","image"] [attr="class","title"]Sailor, leave the sea [attr="class","content"] Balt went back and forth from the camps occasionally many of his memories were here and he had so much that he missed about this place. Whenever he stepped onto the soil of the old ruined camp his wrist burned with the memories of the cold blade that Cosmos had used to remove his hand. Memories were here both good and bad but the one that he could never let go was the Hermes girl who he had grown fond of. Little did he know she didnt just love him, she had loved his friend Sebastian......it still stung but now he had a wonderful woman at the new camp. Angel was his perfect person his other half, he moved from the ruins of one of the cabins he wasnt sure which one it had been he`d honestly forgotten half the layout by now. It had been a year since the camp had been destroyed and most people did not return to see what the war had caused. Balt had been the camps director during the war when Dionysus had fled back to Olympus, he would still get flash backs of the war, the screams the blood the gore.....
Balt walked heavily he was a pirate and well he knew how to sneak but where was the fun in that? He kept his hook at his side as he moved towards a silverish glow by a cabin, no doubt in his mind who this one had belonged to. Everyone knew the hunters, they had that silver glow to them and well they made Balt highly uncomfortable. When he got closer he saw a girl with a sliver glow and orange hair. Balt was terrible with hunters, like truly and honestly terrible with hunters. Back in his youth he had made the mistake of flirting with one of them when they had come to camp for some occasion and well he ended up with a dagger in his shoulder. When her voice rang out Balt raised a brow he watched the girl as she kept her eyes searching for something. "Its dangerous to be in these parts alone, even for a huntress of the Lady Artemis." his voice was calm but it held his french accent to it. "Have you lost something valuable? Perhaps you`d like some help finding it?" He raised a brow.
Maybe a year ago Balt would have been a flirt towards this girl, but now he was a leader, he was grown and he had seen so much more than he had ever thought he would have. Being a pirate for most of his life he had never thought he would stop being a what some would call "player". He had little hope to make friends with this hunter but she hadnt been around his camp so perhaps she was a renegade? Baltazar knew most of the hunters went on their own courses following their goddess in which ever way made them happy. He didnt stand in their way, the hunters had made a vow to a goddess and they would have to do with it what they pleased. He kept his distance not to upset her or to make her feel uncomfortable. His blue eyes watched her for any sudden movements, he wasnt one for fighting but he would if it was his life or hers. He doubted she`d try to kill him since he hadn`t done anything to her, but you could never be to careful. | Dangerous. The world was dangerous. Luna shrugged her shoulders towards the other, “True enough, but hiding only lasts so long.” Vaguely the red haired girl noted the slightly French accent to the other but thought nothing of it. Her own words were laced with the tones of her home, Ancient Greece and the passing of time. As much as Luna wished that things could be as they were before, it just would never happen. Time could not be reversed. Kronos himself could not change history. Everything that was won and lost was done, cemented in history. Of course, there were those that theorized of parallel timelines and universes with worlds that were opposite of this one, but Luna decided not to think it. On occasion when days were long and there was nothing else for Luna to do, perhaps she would consider those ideas. For now, though the present was what mattered to her. The red haired huntress looked up from her search a moment to gauge the other, wondering his personal interest in visiting the site of the fallen camp. Perhaps he was a former camper or simply a curious soul. Something about the other seemed familiar. At the present, Luna put it out of her mind.
Luna looked warily at the other, her grey-blue gaze seemed to study the other. She was of course, wondering whether or not the thought of help was genuine. Typically Luna didn’t like to use the abilities gifted to her by her mother- other’s thoughts were private. She wasn’t trying to read the other’s thoughts, but rather get a sense of his intentions. As Luna was making her own silent assessment of the boy, she guessed that he was doing the same of her. Hunters and males, they were like oil and water- would never mix well. Boys, men. She didn’t trust them no matter their intentions. “Just a box.” she replied, her tone even. Just as she spoke the words, her fingers found the corners of something box-like. She could feel the grooves of a piece that was perhaps more than splinters fused together over the course of the year. Carefully, Luna cleared the area around it, and found the thing. It was a box slightly bigger than the palm of her hand. “Found it.” there was a trace of a smile as she stood up, dusting her clothes off to face the other.
The realization of who he was hit her. She looked up at the other. What was his name? She could not remember. “You were the camp director were you not?” She didn’t specify when- it seemed obvious enough. Luna had fought for the Greeks just after the battle had commenced. It was highly probable that the other did not remember her, she hadn’t been in camp more than a couple weeks before the camp had been attacked. Naturally she wasn’t well acquainted with anyone within the walls of the camp. Camp had fallen anyhow and everyone went their separate ways. She herself had refused to join any side. Perhaps sometime she would, but for now she would remain unaligned.
“You know what has brought me back to these ruins, but what brings you back to this place?” She inquired, her gaze steady. She watched him warily. Luna didn’t have any quarrel with the other. True the tensions were great among all demigods. There was no telling with whom each was aligned. In truth, Luna did not care of the alignment of others. Her own dislike was that of the half titan children. The spawn of titans were the enemy to her. Perhaps not forever, but the daughter of Athena was almost certain that their motives and intents were most hostile at present. |

[googlefont="IM Fell DW Pica SC:400"] [attr="class","an_actual_ship"] [attr="class","image"] [attr="class","title"]Sailor, leave the sea [attr="class","content"] Baltazar watched silently as the girl looked for something she seemed intent on finding when she found it he merely raised a brow at her curious as to what could have been so important to come searching for. Balt tensed slightly when the girl turned to face his eyes moved directly to the box scanning it for anything that could prove to be dangerous or potentially dangerous to him. When the girl realized who he was Balt looked up with a raised brow once more a expressionless look on his face "Aye at one time." That was all he had to stay everyone knew what had happened to the camp and even Balt himself couldnt stop the war before it began. Perhaps if the gods had interfered then none of this would have happened but they didnt, they ran away and hid themselves while they fought between their roman and greek counterparts each wanting to take over to get involved. Balt began to grow angry at the thought of them being abandoned by the gods surely the ones who could keep a balance like Apollo could have stepped in to call a truce? Rage he was feeling rage the longer he thought about it until her next set of words brought him back to this thoughts, What was he doing here?
"While many places in this camp have been destroyed much of my past has been locked in its memories. While some may think me to be heartless the point is I still care about what happened here, this was my home for years and I lost many friends to the war. I come back here once a month to just try to remember the good times." Balt had to stop himself from speaking any more than what he had already said It was bad enough that he was considered to be one of the more "ruthless and cruel" leaders of the camp but he had become hardened over the years. He had fallen in love to a man who betrayed him not the mention the man cut off his hand and began a war between the Romans and Greeks with the annoyance he called a sister. Balt pulled a flask from his coats pocket and took a swig. He was known for drinking and drinking a lot when he did, most people have learned to accept that about him. Being the son of Poseidon and the grandson of the pirate Blackbeard he had grown up to be cold and heartless at times. Drinking was his way of cutting off those who cared.
Balt finished his couple of swigs and put the flask back into his pocket his eyes locking on the girl once more. He spoke in a colder tone though he meant nothing by it, "Now that you have what you came for will you leave and never look back on this place? I know you hunters were never fond of the camp to begin with." Balt was what some people would call a jerk at times, he didnt mean to be he just had a hard time opening up to people. There was a lot that he kept hidden, while he loved certain people with all of his heart he found it harder to trust others. Hunters of Artemis were never really trust worthy towards the other demi gods, they stuck with their "sisters" and their goddess, Balt admired their loyalty to the goddess but he also thought they were stupid for giving up the best things in life. Love, Memories, and growing old.
